Cup and Saucer

Introduction

The Cup and Saucer is without a doubt the best children's ride . One of this ride's best features is the fact that it suits a large demographic or riders, though it is aimed at young children aged 2-10 years, both older and younger children enjoy it also. Another great feature is that adults may ride with their children.

Theming

Our rides are always very well themed. The main being a children's party complete with balloons, cartoon character cut outs, brightly coloured flowers and fund kids music. Last year the Cup and Saucer was completely refurbished, being stripped and painted, it now looks better than ever.

Samba Balloon Race

Introduction

The Samba is Partyland's newest addition. Imported from Italy, it is a children's ride that features hot air balloon carriages and is truly a marvel to look at. The bright lights make it especially magnificent to look at during the evening. Seating 32 kids, it has enormous potential to be a great revenue raiser.

Theming

The theme for the Samba is all about being in the sky. Fluffy white cloud cut-outs and bright, smiling suns grace the safety barrier and give kids the illusion of really being up in the air.

Aladdin Mini Jet

Introduction

The Aladdin Mini Jet has been a feature for many years, seeing a high level of success and in turn becoming a long standing favourite with patrons. The ride was manufactured in Italy with high quality materials and workmanship. It has five magic carpet shaped cars at the end of five arms; each car can carry four children and comes with safety seat belts. This ride is suitable for children aged 2-10 years.

Theming

The Aladdin is a great looking ride. Theming for this ride is similar to the Cup and Saucer, with balloons, flowers and music. The Aladdin theme is also capitalised with cut outs featuring all the Aladdin characters. This ride is very attractive and constantly receives positive feedback on its theming and presentation.

The Convoy

Introduction

The Convoy is Partyland's latest ride imported from Italy and has proven to be extremely popular everywhere it has been. The Convoy has operated twice at the Royal Melbourne Show and was a popular feature of the Brisbane Exhibition in 2004, 2005 and 2006. The ride consists of two mini taxis, two mini prime movers and as a latest addition, a police truck. All cars have the capacity to hold 4 children each. The decoration on this ride is very attractive, with each unit brightly painted and themed. This ride is suitable for children aged 2-10 years and we feel it would be a great asset to the festival.

Theming

The theme for the convoy is a party town, a child-size town of fun with the convoy running through the centre. There are painted backgrounds, flowers in the centre, petrol pumps, traffic lights and road signs. The Convoy also features a duck pond and brightly lit bridge. Children love this ride and it is very attractive as you can see from the photos provided.

Undersea Mini Wheel

Introduction

The Undersea Mini-Wheel is one of the newest additions to Gill's Partyland. This ride is good fun, good value and very popular with small children, as was proven at the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Brisbane Exhibition.

It is a minature Ferris Wheel, standing at 3 X 5 metres (including safety fences and crowd control barriers) we believe it is one of the best for its size. Reaching heights of five metres it offers kids the chance to experience a great thrill in being elevated, but still be in a safe comfortable environment. Each of the five fully enclosed gondolas holds four children making the capacity twenty children per ride.

Theming

The Undersea Mini-Wheel is themed on popular underwater cartoon characters, with all the carriages displaying various coloured deigns. Decorating the safety barriers are cut outs of other cartoon marine creatures. At night, the Undersea Mini-Wheel is truly spectacular to look at, with its strobe snake and turbo lighting attracting attention from all and creating the perfect atmosphere.
